Joy Restored is not crisis care. If you’re in crisis right now, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Three Doors

Whichever door you came through, you’re in the right place.

The Better Question

You’ve spent years asking, “What’s wrong with me?”

It’s an understandable question. It’s also the wrong one, it rarely leads anywhere but shame. There’s a better question: “What happened to me… and what is God inviting me to heal?”

That question replaces shame with curiosity and condemnation with compassion. Your patterns, the anger, the perfectionism, the withdrawing, the control, were often remarkably wise ways of surviving what you lived through. But what protected you is not who you are.

Your wounds are real. But they are not your identity.

The Restoration Journey

Five domains. Four movements.
One whole person.

We don’t work on your problem in isolation. Restoration moves through the whole of you, and in every part it walks the same four movements. This is the lens, not a menu you have to choose from.

Spirit

Where you meet God, and what you quietly believe He thinks of you.

  • TruthName what you actually believe about Him, not what you’re supposed to.
  • LamentSay the honest thing out loud. He can hold it.
  • ForgivenessPut down what you’ve held against Him, or against yourself.
  • RememberingRecall where He has actually shown up before.

Soul

Mind, will and emotions. The part of you that carries the story.

  • TruthFind the belief running underneath the reaction.
  • LamentGrieve what believing it has cost you.
  • ForgivenessLet go of the verdict you passed on yourself.
  • RememberingRehearse what’s true until it’s yours.

Body

What your nervous system learned back when words weren’t enough.

  • TruthNotice what your body does before you have language for it.
  • LamentLet it move through instead of bracing against it.
  • ForgivenessStop punishing a body that was only protecting you.
  • RememberingTeach it, slowly, that this moment is safe.

Relationships

How you attach, how you protect yourself, and who you let close.

  • TruthSee the pattern, not just the last argument.
  • LamentGrieve the relationship you didn’t get to have.
  • ForgivenessPut down what you’re still owed.
  • RememberingPractice repair until it stops feeling remarkable.

Purpose

What you’re for, after the thing that changed everything.

  • TruthTell the truth about what was actually lost.
  • LamentMourn the life you had planned on.
  • ForgivenessRelease the years you feel you wasted.
  • RememberingPick up what’s still yours to carry.

Restoration isn’t a ladder you climb once.
You’ll walk these four movements again in every domain, at your own pace.

The Joy Restored Podcast

Conversations for when the ground gives way.

Chariti Kupiec
Founder · Coach · Fellow Traveler

Chariti Kupiec knows the valley.

After losing two of her sons, Chariti wrestled with faith, grief, and what it means to keep moving when the ground gives way. Joy Restored grew out of that wrestling, plus years of training in inner healing, neuroscience, and spiritual formation.

“Grief and faith are not opposites, they coexist. And in that tension, there’s still room for joy.”

One to One

Coaching

For the season when you want somebody paying attention to the thing you said quickly and moved past.

In the Room

Speaking

Churches, retreats, conferences, staff teams, and podcasts. Grief science and the goodness of God in the same room, from someone who is not speaking about it from a distance.

Speaking
Restoring Dignity

No child should carry their life in a trash bag.

When a kid is moved from one home to another, somebody hands them a garbage sack for everything they own. In the worst hour of their week, the message underneath that bag is unmistakable, and children hear it clearly.

A Joy Restored Go Bag is a real duffle, packed on purpose, that is theirs and that they keep. It will not undo the removal. It refuses to add one more message to the pile.
